btw originally the woman in the house is supposed to be the ghost. There's like 100 pages of discussion about "IT HAZ TO BI RILZ!!" because the person who took the photo said the house was empty. Lol.
I really don't understand the sheer animosity with which you treat theists sometimes. I'm not a huge God guy myself, but I'd rather be happy than sad (durrrrr). So if it saddens me to believe that something isn't watching and doing **** behind a curtain, **** that. If it makes you happy to believe there isn't, woooo go nuts. From a rather hedonistic point of view, of course.
edit: lmfao page 1 what is wrong with you guys
editedit: you know what Rubix? I think I actually agree with you now. I went around a bit and read up on Occam's Razor, apologetics, etc. and I think I've come around to your point of view on God's feasibility. BUT, you're wrong in showing so much animosity towards theists, because I doubt most of them care enough to reason it out as thoroughly as you have and I don't think that makes them any less intelligent, just apathetic RUN ONS WOOO. Also the hedonism argument above still stands. I think. Unless you consider hedonism to be fundamentally unintelligent.
I believe that one can achieve a higher level of happiness without the need for God. I am much happier as an atheist than I ever was as a theist (and yes, I used to be Christian). Knowledge is power. BTW, in case you're wondering, I am a sort of hedonist, but only in the sense of utility. I would argue the hedonist argument to be fundamentally intelligent, actually.
Regardless, some people genuinely don't care one way or the other, and that's fine.
But I have no problem calling people stupid for believing in God. No different from me calling someone stupid for believing in the tooth fairy. It's silly to define "God" as something always past what we can explain. At that point, why even call it God? It's ridiculous.
But, it's not my job to change people's minds. But it doesn't mean I have to change my opinion of such people.

It's like..
Going through you're parents candy cabinet, and being happy when you find an orange, so you stop searching. But if you had continued, you'd find chocolate, but you'll never know because ignorance is bliss.
