    Kill Bill vol. 2

Saw it Friday night, but I haven't been on a computer since.

I thought it was great, a lot more like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs than vol. 1. More story, more dialogue, more Tarantino-esque. It was the perfect second half to the movie.

That said, I prefered volume 1. It seemed a bit more original, enjoyable, to quote a newspaper critic, "crazy cool". The great thing about the movie is that if you consider both parts together you have the best of both worlds. You have the complete homage of the first part that ties in with the direct Kung Fu movie copy of the Pai Mai training, and you have the beautiful characters and dialoge a la Pulp Fiction.

    So, anyone else see it?

I like Vol. 2 more than the first because I actually found myself bored at some parts in Vol. 1 do to the lack of plot. But both are still great.

I saw Vol 2 on Friday, and I loved it to death. I'm seeing it again with some friends tomorrow.

I saw them both. I liked the first one better.
The second one was two inconsisten with it's genre. Which I realize that's what everyone loves about it...but it just kept changing from Kung-Fu movie, to western-y, to other regular pulp-fiction type movie (which I've never seen ). I don't know. Maybe that's just me.

Well, Quentin Tarentino did direct Pulp Fiction. And you must see that movie. I swear to god, it is the best movie in existance. Oh, and I'm not suprised Kill Bill was plot lacking...Pulp Fiction has no plot. I swear to god, there's no plot. I've seen it maybe 5 times and I still fail to notice a plot of any kind.

it doesn't have a regular plot laid out in a regular fashion, but it sure does have a plot. Realize that the plot is all the events reagarding the briefcase (the briefcase contains Wallace's soul... a lot of people never pick up on that.)

It does not neccesarrily contain his soul. The bandaid on the back of his neck was because the makeup guy wanted to cover up a scar, dude. There is no concrete evidence as to the contents of the briefcase.

However there is quite a bit of evidence that points to the idea that Wallace sold his soul. But, if you'd like to venture a better guess as to what the briefcase contains, be my guest.

I saw Vol. 2 after much anticipation on friday and was not disappointed. It was better than I expected, and better than the first one. The fight scene with Elle and "Mommy" was amazing and hilarious to say the least. I also liked it better than Vol. 1. I wouldn't mind sitting for 4 hours for one long movie. I actually would expect something like that from Quentin. Together, Kill Bill is the best movie I have seen in...a while. I haven't made a decision on where yet. Top 3 though.
                      Nice.

The biggest guess is that it's the diamonds from Resivoir Dogs, or as someone else said, paperwork. Best McGuffin in film history, though.
