That's why mayweather beat de la hoya by decision and pacquaio whooped his ass in the 7th or 8th round. Mayweather has been dodging this fight for too long. Pacquiao is gonna whoop him.

It's only normal to be worried, when you run your mouth this much only to pale in comparison to how each fighter has done when having fought against the same people. Everyone Pacquiao has fought that mayweather has, Pacquiao has undoubtedly made them work harder to keep going to say the least.

Pacquiao is going to win this one -- Mayweather may have decent defense, but Pacquiao has definitely got the strength high-ground considering how often he brings in those hard power shots. Mayweather's pretty fast, but so is Pacquiao (who is a crazy hyperaggressive beast). Speed is probably not going to be the deciding factor here -- Mayweather would have to basically tire Pacquiao out to get a significant speed advantage, but only after correctly blocking most of those absurd power shots. I don't think even Mayweather can pull that off correctly. Pacquiao's got this.

Mayweather- Hatton fight went into the 10th round with 25 seconds left winning by TKO

Pacquiao-Hatton fight went into the 2nd round only for pacquiao to knock his ass OUT.

Mayweather-He struggled on this one. The fight was pretty damn close. It ended up having to go into a decision after the 12 rounded ended. Mayweather victorious.

Pacquiao-Took the pace the entire time. Were it not for De La Hoya's fighting spirit, he wouldn't have been able to hold on as long as he did. The fight was over before it started and everyone could see it in the first two rounds. TKO in the 8th round.

Mayweather is a duck and dodge fighter and most of his fights are won by decision so he can maintain his perfect little record. Sure, it's worked, and yes, he's got skill, power, speed, finesse. He's an amazing boxer, but never before has he fought a fighter with such speed and terrifying drive. Pacquiao has got balls. If you watched the Cotto fight you'd know what I'm talking about. Cotta praised for his tremendous power only for pacquiao to turn his face in to mince meat. Mayweather isn't gonna be able to fight this fight like he always does(duck and dodge) because it's Manny PAC-MAN Pacquiao. Everyone knows Mayweather has been avoiding this fight and everyone knows why, Pacquiao has got what it takes to shut this egotistical bastard up.

Well Mayweather's known as being primarily a defensive fighter (not to imply that his offensive strengths are traded off) -- he's just so smooth and is able to completely avoid many strategic shots. I just don't think it's a defensive style that will work properly against a guy like Pacquiao, who is really damned fast and has a ****load of power to back it all up. Get hit by Pacquiao enough and you're out of there. I predict Mayweather will get KO'd.

Just wanted to say this is only because Hatton has practically no defense at all -- but it does go to show you that taking Pacquiao's shots is not good.

Please, Mayweather may be fast, but you act like Pacquiao isn't. They're BOTH fast. Mayweather tends to win because of that speed and defense. He's usually a lot faster and more intricate in his execution. The problem is that it only really works when you're significantly faster, which he is not over Pacquiao.
