    Zune software problems + help

    Is it just me, or is the new update pissing everyone off?
    For example, I've got a 30gb, and I'm having problems getting the damn software to notice that my Zune is connected. I have tried using a brand new cable, using an actual USB port instead of a hub, clearing my zune, uninstalling the current software, even going so far as to actually look at what Microsoft suggest that you do to help remedy the problem, and nothing is working. Any sugesstions?

                  Zunes have come a looooooooooooooooong way since the first release which was the biggest joke since forever. They're now sexy and almost completely functional.

                  That said, I'd take a Cowon over an iPod or Zune anyday.

                  ps you'll probably have to wait for Microsoft to patch it again or something, or you can google the firmware version and add "problem" to the end of it.

                              Sony Walkman is only $80. I had 4G but an expansion slot so you can expand it to pretty much as long as you want. The software is easy to use, syncs like an iPod if you want it to (Although I personally just jam it all in and it sorts itself), and has all the other features an iPod has and FM radio.

                              As for the update...see if you can downgrade your software.

                                  i got the zune hd for me birthday and it seems to work just fine for me. do you have the origanal or the socend virgin of the zune??
