    New York Trip

Well I just got back from New York.

Carnegie Hall was incredible, and the accoustics we even better than I thought. I was on the back of the balcony when one of the other bands was performing. During their music a Trumpet emptied his spit valve. I heard it as clearly as if he was 3 feet away from me.
We also went to the top floor (86) of the Empire State building.
We had a behind the scenes tour of Radio City Music Hall.
We saw The Lion King on broadway.
We toured Central Park and saw the statue of Balto.
We visited Times Square and Ground Zero.

It was a very memorable 5 days.

I will post more on it when I get everything out and uploaded.

Nope, only the people selling watches from the inside of their coats.

Oh, we also had a Dinner Dance Cruise where I saw Ellis Island and the Statue of liberty. On of the band member's older sisters (about 21) pulled me out and tried to get me to dance, which is when I told her I had never been to any school dance or other dance. She made it her goal to teach me. After about 10 min of sheer embarrasment, I was actually having fun. There was also the slow dance at the end.

He of course heard it. He had no idea everyone else heard it.

Just wait until he does realize it when someone tells him, or when he hear their peformance...Though by the time he hears their performance he probably wont remember that it was him who did that...

I remember one time during a performance my friend was talking to me. At that time, the performing band was playing frikkin loud (we didnt know it but the loudness was due to the song nearing its end) and my friend had to speak up so I could hear him. Unfortunately, the song had a very abrupt ending, and right as it ended, everyone distinctively heard the word "DOOBIE!" echo thorugh the room in a highly pitched voice. Oh, you should have seen the look on his face... Nobody but a few friends know it was him who said it, and it's one of our longest-running inside jokes.

                          Ah, good times...

Yeah, that has almost happened to me before.

It is so interesting that the guy in Subway (The Resturant) could not believe I could think up something like a Hot, Roast Beef, Turkey, and Cheese sandwich. It is actually on the menu in CA and AZ, but he kept going back to tomatos and lettuce as if it was a cold sandwich. I finally got it, but he charged me like $10 because it was a specialty sandwich, and it was not very warm either. It is kinda funny that he couldn't even believe a sandwich like that existed.
