I saw this today on DVD. Great movie. Definately in my top 3 of all time. I cannot wait for volume 2 to come out.

I agree, it is a very good movie. Tarantino got a lot of his ideas for the movie from many Japanese shock films like Audition, Ichi the Killer etc.

the excessive blood wasn't meant to be realistic. It was meant to pay homage to the kung fu movies that influenced Tarantino.

I don't think that the fight between o-ren and the bride was really disappointing though. After all the fighting beforehand, a long drawn out fight sequence there would have probably seemed excessive (though, what wasn't in the movie?).

Ever seen Tarantino on like, a talk show? Holy CRAP! You can't tell if he's drunk or not. All day. He's pretty weird. On Conan's show, he said:

"ITS RATED 'R', SO YOU NEED YOUR MOMMY TO COME WITH YOU!!"

Or something along those lines. You get the idea; he's pretty weird.


Onto the subject, I havent een Kill Bill Volume 1 yet. Damn, I wanted to. Oh well, I'll find a way.

...Like how Ill eventually see the last two Matrixes.

Yeah, I went to the theatre to go see it.. but they wouldn't let me in.. so I went home that day and got it from the net.. geat movie.
