Help with Vista?

On my old computer, which was XP, I had a setting called 'what u hear' which would pretty much turn my spekers into a microphone, recording whatever came out of them, or sending it to people via voice chat, like a mic.

Vista (I say this name with extreme contempt) doesnt have this feature, that I can find anyway.

So I'm asking if it does have this feature, and I overlooked it, or if this is a waste of a thread. xD

Also, I hate Vista. Lots.

I used to have mine set up where you could do that and... for the life of me I can't remember...

Right-click your sound icon in the right-hand side of your taskbar. Click 'Recording Devices'. Right-click 'Stereo Mix' and hit "Enable".

After you do that, then I think you should be able to record from your computer... no promises though. :/
