I don't think anyone said he got cheated on. In any case, if you're old enough and you understand what it feels to be crushed like that, it doesn't matter in this case whether you're present for the cheating or blown off through e-mail and you found out she broke up the relationship alone (usually your opinion counts) and slept with some one night stand loser taking advantage of her psychotic roller coaster emotions.

I don't check my email for 4-5 days at a time even though I have plenty of time to.

If I was backpacking through europe it's not hard to imagine i'd skip checking it for two weeks. I can see someone in the same situation.

I felt really bad for the guy as the story went on, but then in the end I felt really happy for what he did. That bitch deserved it. xD

Wow.

I wonder what exactly went through her head after his mom had told her where he was.

If anything this is good news for the guy because with this experience he can clearly see she would've done something way crazier later on in their relationship with that kind of mood swinging personality. Good that it ended there.
