Yes I did, and I turned them down because A) The fees are amazingly high, and B) If I went to college right now, I'd drop out before I finished.
I'm not a school person.
So you won't buck up for a better school, but you'll drop out of a worse school. At least one isn't a waste of money.
I'm going to Seneca College @ York for Computer Systems Technology for 3 years, and I will probably follow that up with Open Source Software Engineering. Going to be a blast 8D
I go to community college and my books are 500+ dollars a semester. The good thing is that at the end of each semester they do a book buy-back, so my parents buy the books for me and then when I'm done with classes I bring the books to a person in charge of the buy-back and they give me straight up cash in exchange for the book. Then I get to keep the cash. So I make around 200 dollars each semester just for giving back the book because I get to keep the money. You guys all probably have something like that too, but I just find it really exciting.

No, I'd pay it. It's just a turn-off. And I'd drop out of any school.
I got accepted to RIT (I don't even know how I think they messed up in admissions. I had a C/C- average.) for videogame design and development starting in a month, which I'm mildly excited for. They even sent me some money for my board scores or something like that.

So in the end, it's all a waste of money.
Or you can not drop out so you don't have to suck dick for a living? You're going to kick your own ass someday @_@. In all seriousness if you found out what you would love doing for a job, then go into that you would love going. Don't just limit yourself to the best of your potential. If I had the potential to be a doctor, and make way more money than an IT guy, I would still go into IT cause being a doctor would be boring as hell for me.

York history tried to recruit me, it was kinda weird, they had a history professor call me at my house to try and talk me into going.
