MIDI to MP3 Conversion. Help.

Help me, I can't turn this MIDI file into an MP3 so I can't do anything with it. I want to step it, or part of it, but I have to be able to edit, and nothing wants anything to do with MIDI files. Sure, they'll convert everything under the sun to MIDI files, but no one wants them back after they've gone over to the other side. Anyone know anything?

oh joy. Well I'm gonna try the fruity loops thing, then I'll look for an mp3 version, then if worse comes to worse I'll get some high quality speakers out and re-record it as a wav then change that to mp3.

I imported the song to Fruity loops, and I can see all the notes and everything, but when I play it, it doesn't emit any sound. If I export it to an mp3 it remains just a silent song. ANyone know how I fix this? Everything else in fruity loops makes the sounds, but not this file.
