See, I've been trying to get into some marketing campaigns to gain some experience and get an edge in a difficult job market. I'm a rising junior so if I want a job I'll need to get an internship next summer. I'm looking to do some significant stuff to put on my resume to secure that.
So, I'm laying it out right now, and this is my first real attempt: That's Not Cool
So, what's the deal, nforcer?
The link above will direct you to a site called That's Not Cool, which is full of a selection of passive-aggressive notes to pass on to people who can't take a hint about constantly calling you, texting you, etc. and finding a way to get them to take the hint. I think you might enjoy it!
Is that a referral link?
Kinda. I am required to disclose two things to you. First, I'm doing this marketing campaign for That's Not Cool on behalf of RepNation, and second, I may receive incentives. The link only looks that way because it is a unique identifier that lets RepNation know that I'm the one that made you aware of the site.
Wait.. you're getting paid?
If pennies per click is significant, then yes, I am getting paid. As I stated, I'm not in this for the money. I'm in this for the marketing experience.
Great, so what can I do to help?
I only ask at a bare minimum to click the link above. If you've got the ability, though, I'd love for you to spread it around. Send it to people on AIM or other people you know on messaging clients if you can. Do you use Twitter? MySpace? Facebook? I'd love for you to throw that link up for me and spread the word as well. I'm trying to create a web for Word Of Mouth advertising, and I trust you guys to help make it a success.
