Been trying to think of something creative to do with this 2d physics simulator I have, so I'm trying to make a dropping pendulum like the one in the story, "Pit and the Pendulum." Only problem is that it's not a real device. The experts on Making History managed to make a real life full sized version that works but I can't find any directions or sketches of it anywhere.
If anyone could help me find something that will help me build it, or any advice on how to make a dropping mechanism, it would be much appreciated.
