Because I don't care about famous people and it is never brought up in conversation. I don't know about you, but I don't enjoy reading credits of movies. I used to even work in a movie theater and actors were never brought up. I don't care who the actors are... it just isn't important to me. Even it did somehow come up, I would never remember some random persons name like that.
I'm curious as to how anyone knows who these people are.
I didn't even know who billy mays was until I saw a picture, and then I remembered seeing him on commercials.Comment

Good actors and actresses are well-known because they consistently pull off great performances and give movies a competitive edge.

If I had to predict the next one from that list to croak, it'd probably be Hugh Laurie. He's the only person that would give /b/tards almost as big a hayday as they're having with Billy Mays. Obviously I hope nothing happens to him, or anyone else on that list, though.
