Look, opinions are one thing, but the appropriateness of posting it is another. The majority of people are shocked one way or another, but rude comments are just not appropriate, whatever your opinion is. In a more extreme analogy, it's like having someone being inconsiderate during a moment of silence or during a funeral. Your sense of entitlement to your own opinion doesn't necessarily mean it's the smartest choice to blurt it out at a particularly sensitive time. I'm glad that some people here treat the situation with a little more care than those who wouldn't hesitate to continue promoting their own so-called "freedom of speech".Last edited by bmah; 06-25-2009, 11:31 PM.Comment

Oh Michael Jackson did do some cool stuff. His musical accomplishments are not trivial. But he also was a child molesting weirdo. I respect his accomplishments as a musician, despite not caring for his music. He certainly achieved greatness in that regard.
I just don't respect him as a person.
Also, I heard this just a second ago from a girl I haven't really known since she was nine:

Yes, that's probably some of the most important thing MJ left behind: what he did to the music industry. As a person though, he never really had the childhood of a normal kid, and when he tried to recreate the experience that he never had in his past, things unforunately didn't get better. Maybe Neverland shouldn't have been created in the first place. Having a new childhood in adult life didn't work out right.
