Some people grow up on his music, videos, and the things he's contributed to the world. Just because we don't bring it up in every post doesn't mean that he didn't mean anything to us. There are multiple things that have to do with me and how much I liked Michael Jackson that I can remember happening throughout my life, so yeah. It's a shock knowing that someone like that won't be around anymore, making new music or seeing him ever again. I wouldn't be so surprised that people are reacting strongly to this if I were you.

He's a symbol to the entire world of America and Michael's talent and legacy symbolizes the great amount of talent that America has and has put out over the past 45 years.

To me, he's a symbol of a horrifying man who put out music I don't like, a child rapist, and an all-around degenerate psychopath.

Wait, that's not symbolic at all; that's reality.

My heart dropped when I heard those four dreaded words "Michael Jackson has died".

My mom would always listen to his music when I was around, I'm buying all his albums for sure now.

People in generations to come will probably know of him.
