Kurt was one of the greatest muscicians in the past 30 years, I mean I have respect for all the other largly influental rockers of the past while, Hendrix, Van Halen, Zeppelin, etc. But nothing was ever like Nirvana, these bands can play all the fancy fast notes all they want, impressive, I have respect for their talents. But when someone can play two notes that hit you like a cement wall and can portray an elaborate feeling without saying a word is something amazing. May he rest in peace.

Oh yeah and one more thing, as the Dead Kennedys have preached, GET MTV OF THE AIR!

Wow. Drugs really do help people make crappy music. Look what it did for the beatles.

Kurt Cobain's music sucked. Why worship him? There are other musicians out there that are way better.

Go plug a toaster into a boombox and worship away.

There are many definitions to "sucked" what aspect about his music do you not like? that he wrote about his troubled childhood? He disliked authority figures? How heavy it was? The lyrics? What do you not like? He really was revolutionary, and should be looked at as one of the greatest bands of our time.

Even if you don't like his music, you can't doubt who influential he was. Music has significantly changed since Nirvana, whether Nirvana sounded good or bad.

I don't think anybody ever has the right to say music is bad (EDIT: as a fact). Nothing can really define good music, it is solely based on opinion. An exception to this rule is rap

People definitely have the right to say music is bad.
Yes it's based on opinion, and some opinion says that certain music is bad.
As in, "I think grunge is extremely bad." (emphasis added for effect.)
Now, when people try to turn that into more of a fact, and force their opinion on other people, that's bad.
As in, "No, you're wrong. grunge is bad, for sure. Only stupid people listen to grunge, and that's a fact."
