i don't know what I did, but I accidentally pressed something, or did something to my laptop. It's brand new, and it's supposed to do that thing where when you hold the cursor over the window, it shows a smaller version of it, and it's not. Also, the bottom and top of my Windows Media Player is white, and the shortcut next to the Start button, the "Switch between windows" one, instead of doing the 3D models of all open browsers, this little box pops up instead. Anybody have a solution? It's nothing major, but I liked it how it was.

I think you turned off your aero visual style and switched to basic.

Right-click > Personalize >Windows Color and Apperance > Open Classic Appearance Properties >select Windows AeroComment

anotherEDIT: your video card also might not support it

also make sure you have the color set to 32bit and not 16 bit. since aero requires 32bit you might have accidentally switched to 16bit and thats why it isnt showing
