Should VxDx be banned?

I've been thinking about this lately.

Okay, light flaming is allowed, but he does not lightly flame. Every one of his posts is a troll post that is probably going to start a flame war.

There is a difference between light flaming and trolling. Light flaming is just adding on little flames to your post when you generally had a point behind it. Trolling is when you make posts that are generally going to start flamewars. Nearly every one of his posts are like this. Not only this, he does not listen to what the admins have to say (except for Synth) and never respects the rules at all.

Don't vote by how much you like him on this poll. Oh, and since I can't make a locked posts with voting still open, any posts that are trolling will be deleted.

I am starting to think he needs to shape up or ship out. He sometimes has something good to add, but fishing through the guff just makes it lose all its worth.

I'd take the middle ground and make this a first-and-only warning kind of thing. If he keeps doing bad stuff then ban him, but if not then no harm done.

I'm in the middle ground too. I see it happen a lot from him, but not the full extent.

i dont think a permanent ban is necessary, but a temp ban can be recommended... I have opnions on why he does what he does.. but I im not going to publicaly announce them... Arch if you want to know I will PM you with them

This was...difficult for me, but I voted no. When Vx first came here, I thought he was a complete asshole, flaming incessantly and just being a general prick. But in recent times...well, I have to change my opinion of him somewhat. Yes, he says a LOT of stupid stuff (no offense, Vx, but even you can't deny that), and yes, a lot of it could be considered trolling. But I also know that he does have a brain underneath, and he demostrates it in the few posts in which he decides to be serious. I do agree that he has caused an unnecessary amount of annoyance for Arch, while everybody else has accepted his modding him and Makaveli are still complaining and causing problems for him, spurting unprovoked attacks at the least provocation. But again, on the other hand, nowhere in the rules does it say you can be unhappy with a mod.

I think that some measures should be taken, and I think that Vx and Makaveli both should have more respect for Arch0wl. But I think that a banning is too extreme. He does contribute to the forums (however erratically) and hasn't really done anything that would be considered by me a bannable offense. But I also know that he's been on Synth's (and every mod's, for that matter) 'shit list', so to speak, for a while now, and he's also come very close to being banned before. Again, this is just my unbiased opinion on the matter, I'm just calling it as I see it.

I don't think he should be banned. I don't think he would be a *** like aperson if he was banned, but I just don't see a reason to ban him. You want these forums to grow? Let people be people. Yeah lock threads when they get out of hand, but don't tell people who they can and cannot be.

He's an alright guy. Sure he may not present his ideas in a happy sugar rainbow magical delightful way, so nobody has to take any heat. Most people don't.

The only thing I don't like about him is his sarcastic, racial remarks towards Asians. But, I know he is joking, so it's all in good fun.

Okay, I am taking all of your opinions to thought.

However, he does need to stop, that is for sure. I'm sick of seeing like every single topic he posts in turn into an argument, and it's really annoying to deal with this without having people constantly being critical of every action I do.

I agree with anticrombie on this one, and would like to add that everyone likes seriousness in the site, but the forums wouldn't be half so good without the random flaming and hilarity members like VxDx, Makaveli, etc. bring to the site. All in good taste though.
