I see what you mean. I left for a few months, not during the period of time where I was using the forums, but back in March of '08, mostly because nobody else at my school used this site, and it seemed like I needed a break from playing the game.

Then I came back just to use the forums, and then took a 2-month break after September.

I'm thinking about taking another break, but I always convince myself that there are good threads that I might be missing out on, and sure enough, there are.

A lot of people seem to think FFR is an "all or nothing" proposition. It can easily just be a background thing you retreat to for fun...I played a lot of FFR for awhile, and then didn't play much at all in the past 2 months. Now I'm getting back into the game as well as the forums. I think people just need to realize moderation is the best policy.

Though I have to say, one reason I've been more lax with FFR is my growing obsession with reddit. Too much of one thing for too much of another, I guess.

Anyways, good luck with life and all that jazz.

I started this account because I figured I would get a fresh start and get better at FFR etc. As I was going through the motions of playing every song all over again I realized who cares? And I just stopped playing. The forums are pretty cool, though.
