centrios super slim - about 30$ in canukland. It's wired and awesome.
G11's suck. terrible response, and bulky.

Desktops > Laptops if you don't leave your basement.

Also the best keyboards are cheap, typical keyboards.

I play my best at school in the morning with some keyboard that all the new computers have...
I'll check what it is, it's just some generic Dell keyboard, but I play really well on it.
Either that or it's just because it's morning.

              3. Rule out bulky keys
              4. Just buy the kensington slimtype already
              1. Why?

              2. Agreed.

              3. All my scores were done on bulky kb's, sm and ffr [well, I got a good amount of my FFR AAAs on a slim kb, even my first FMO, but I could easily redo any of those scores on my bulky kb now.]

              4. I have it, I prefer my bulky kb over it any day.

SM - Multiple DP passes, multiple JHM passed, near Requiem pass, muuuultiple 960 bpm speedcore passes, etc...
FFR - DP FC, CP FC, RATO FC, vRofl rank 5?

For even more proof you can vibrate on a bulky KB:

I'm just going to give my experience on the G15, which is practically the same thing when it comes to SM/FFR. Worst wired keyboard I ever played on. I gave it to my brother 3 days after I got the keyboard. It's fine on easier songs, hell, I even AAA'd Document 13b on it somehow, but I still think the kb is bad, absolutely terrible for speed, and I forget why else I didn't like it because it's been so long.

                Re: Need a keyboard review

Well I dunno about vibrating but the main advantage for me with flat keys is I can use fine wrist movements to boost my speed a little whereas bulky keys require much more forceful and defined movements, slowing me down.

I suppose it doesn't really matter for an indexer though.

also everything I've ever bought by HP has been an overpriced piece of ****

I just got this keyboard today. Very quiet and good for jacks and stuff.
