You might as well call it techno. I was talking to this guy in school the other day, and I said, "Hey, you like electronic music?" And he was like, "Huh? What's electronic?" and I was like, "You know, stuff like the music they play at Raves." and he was like "Oh yeah, techno. I love techno."

I can't stand techno, (daft punk was techno, until they made discovery. If you listen carefully, daft punk's discovery is extremely Disco. Yes, Disco is a form of electronic music, just not a very good form -_-'')

No, techno and trance are NOT similiar. They use completely different synths, and its form and build-up are created differently. Before you make assumptions, do your homework.
