What is Your favorite genre of music?

Just an observation for a class I am taking. I have to make a chart and analyze results of the simple question, which is dumb because it's easy to do. Wow, a lot of people like this music, end of story.

I am more into the genres like: "grindcore" "metal" "screamo" "punk"

Bands including : Iwrestledabearonce, Whitechapel, A Day to Remember,Blink-182, August Burns Red, From A Second Story Window.

It's just what I've grown to like. I understand what they are saying, unlike the misconception that you can't understand crap what they are saying. You listen to the music enough, you eventually under how they emphasize their words, and you can make out what they say. Just like different dialects of certain languages, different accents. It's not that I follow the crowd, because I sure as hell don't. I shave my head, don't have piercings, which is the stereotypical "emo" "hXc" kid.

Progressive Metal, Metal, Rock, Mathcore, Alternative, Classical Piano.

Change to discuss, favorite genres.

I'm not totally into rap, but some I can listen to. Mainly because I love heavy bass in songs (techno is my 2nd favorite generalization of genres.)

I be liking heavier rock like screemo, and some dance, trance, techno stuff you hear on FFR. Also some rap, but only if it is mixed with rock, if not then it sucks. Stuff like Travis Barker remixes is a good example of the type of rap i like. lol.

Most sub-areas from the rock genre such as scremo, alternative rock, pop rock, punk, and lots of other types. My iPod consists of a wide variety of bands from Rise Against to Alesana to All Time Low. I also like classical and electronic.

I don't really discriminate music based on genre, but my favorite would probably be progressive metal/mathcore/whatever you call it.
