So check this out. Good friend of mine who is over in the business department said Disney is coming to our college recruiting, she was going to apply and thought I should too. And so I did.
Few weeks later after an application and a phone interview I get this.
"Dear Jonathan,
Congratulations! You have been selected to participate as a Cast Member (Disneys' word for 'employee') on the Disney College Program in the Spring 2009 Season." yadablah yadablay. Turns out only 6 of the 142 who applied in the area got the internship.
While there, Disney's going to provide with with housing, transportation, furnishing, and utilities, all while on a paid internship. Not to mention unlimited free admission and discounts for myself and limited free admission for up to 3 family/friends.
Anyone who's been here can tell you this is one of the greatest theme parks on earth. It's GIGANTIC. It's divided into 4 parks and a shopping district, each the size of an ordinary theme park. You could spend weeks here and not get to see all there is to see (Mind you, this is the Disney in Florida, not California).
Woohoo.
