I fail to see how the test is offensive... but then, I fail to see how the test offers some form of purity. If I sit down with two different burgers at my plate, try each one, and then decide which one I like more, it's the one I like more, whether I've never had a burger, or a hundred of them. I mean sure, this offers other people's opinions on which is better, but their opinions don't count for anything more - which is what the ad seems to be saying.
yeah its pretty stupid if you ask me.
for one its not like theyre gonna show us if someone actually picks the big mac over the whopper.
for two how is this supposed to effect our choices in eating fast food. we all know what these burgers taste like. you know which one you like more. we all have our preferences. its not going to change a thing. and if you dont eat fast food then youre not going to start eating fast food because of these commercials.
three: i hate these places having random commercials in the first place. unless they have a new product out they want people to know about theres no reason to have a commercial. are you going to forget that mcdonalds exists if we dont have a commercial on tv every five minutes? NO. thanks for the commercial about chicken Mcnuggets cause i totally forgot you had those. its all a ****ing waste of money.
i would find it amusing if the results were "more people like the big mac than the whopper"

Yeah, I don't like this idea at all, since it doesn't really prove much.
The way I see it is, if they go to impoverish regions, the people will probably be hungry, so they won't really care about the taste of either burger.

It's all about the power of reminding... any time you see these commercials you think about the product, and every time you think about a product you are more likely to buy it. As of yesterday I hadn't had a Dr. Pepper in ages, but when I watched the Dr. Pepper Big XII Championship Game I got thirsty, went downstairs, and got a Dr. Pepper from the vending machine. It's all about suggestion.
This is stupid, some cultures are too different for them to possibly enjoy a piece of beef with grease and mayo. Eskimos eat fermented whale blubber, Koreas national food is stinky bean curd, their palates have evolved over hundreds of years. Example: When I lived in Scotland my mom threw a taco party for some people thinking she was doing them a treat, well they couldn't even keep from gagging to be nice because british people like boring unseasoned food

Yes there are some cultures where people find it impossible to enjoy different food.
And since I drive a truck I can never appreciate a bicycle
