Apparently, McDonald's wasn't satisfied with their profits already and decided to make even more.

The Double Cheeseburger, a dollar menu favorite, is being replaced by something else. There will be the option for getting a McDouble, which only has one slice of cheese, for $1.00. If you want a 2nd slice of cheese (Double Cheeseburger), it will cost $1.19.

Although you may think that McDonald's is overreacting, would you rather earn $0.19 more per burger or $0.19 less? Plus, the costs of everything is going up.

Personally, I don't really think the extra slice of cheese is going to convince me to buy the double cheeseburger instead. However, McDonald's will save a fortune on cheese, using half as much cheese per McDouble that is made.

The change will take effect December 1st.

This shows how bad the economy is getting, where even global fast food chains are desperate to make money wherever they can get it.

I noticed this when I went to McDonalds after Six Flags. Pissed me off cuz I only had a dollar on me and I wanted my double cheeseburger. D:<

uhh yea it hasnt been on there for a while in my area. they made the double cheese burger and mcchicken $1.29 in washington
