Make a wish.

Discuss what your wish is. I'm not a regular in chit chat, but I didn't know where to put this and it's not a topic I take lightly. Every night my girlfriend and I tell each other at 11:11 that we love each other and that we want to be with each other forever. It probably seems monotonous like going to church or something, but it works and we've been together nearly two years.

I called her at 11:11 11/11 today and it was real special to me. So I don't know, maybe you all could make a wish as well. Make it a good one and one that you're willing to keep for the rest of your life. It's also Veteran's Day so, that may also affect your wish. Decide well. Post any universal non-private desire you want that isn't considered spam by a mod; something many people can relate to; something that may impact others' wishes.

And if this goes on after today, then this could be just a wish making thread. It's probably not the best idea in the world and could probably fit under forum games but I just thought I'd share.

I used to wish every night at 11:11 to be with my girlfriend. Now that I am, I never wish. She asks me why and I tell her because I have her, and that's all I could ever wish for.

I remember when my sister's friend from high school would always say "11:11, make a wish!". I don't know exactly why people consider 11:11 to be so special but it has been to me for awhile. Very very rarely do I go to sleep after 11:11 without wishing.

I, personally think that because you are together, you should remember to value your relationship on a daily basis; this is how I do so.

Damn I missed 11:11 for today. For some reason I always see these numbers showing up everywhere. I think they have some sort of meaning to me but I don't know what.

I like to think of wishes as part hope, part commitment, and part faith.

It'll happen. The wish will be a placebo, but it'll be the great person you are that actually gets her.
