It just happened. Less than 5 minutes before I posted this, I believe. I'll see if I can find a video of it.

It's not a hologram. It's merely a camera trick.

If you were in the studio, you would not have seen a damn thing standing on that spot.

Why do you think Blitzer didn't know where to look half the time?

CNN has done this camera trick before. They projected a graph onto a moving disc. The disc is just a disc. You wouldn't see that graph in the studio. It's just projected on in realtime through the camera.

I kinda figured that, but I refused to believe it.

There are very advanced and working holograms now, though. I can't say whether this is legit or not, though.

I didn't "think" anything. This technology is six years old and I saw it when it debuted.

It's very likely holograms will be coming in the near future. The kinks are already being worked out.

There are even holographic instruments like harps that you play by strumming a beam of light. It might not be much, but it's a 3D image, not just a laser here and there.

I know. I wasn't trying to make you look like the bad guy. I just wanted whoever read your posts to not get disappointed. Holograms, holographs, whatever, are already becoming a reality.
