Ok, so I like this girl who was in my middle school (but now she's in a different high school T_T) and I had an hour long conversation with her (we both laughed at our jokes and had a great time talking, so that went well ).

A few days later, I called my friend who goes to the same school as her to say hi, and I told him about the conversation I had with her, and he said he knew about it. I asked how, and he responded by saying that she told him about it, and she also asked "does he like me"?

I'm a little shocked about it, because I don't know how she felt about the conversation and how she feels about me. Also, we both take orchestra classes and we auditioned for the All State (hopefully I make it this year so that I can see her) and I want to know her better without making her feel uncomfortable. Help please?

Ask if she wants to rehearse with you. Keep up the good rapport and find common ground. Don't be too pushy, but ask questions so you can find things you like to do together.

OrganisM gives the best suggestions. Even if they may seem awkward.

edit: She obviously likes someone who takes the time to have a conversation. Have another one when you two meet up.

Because there's a thread for this and it's a ridiculous question. I was that age once too (gasp) and not too long ago, but I didn't ask what to do on FFR.

Ever read the OP of that thread? It's not exactly the kind of place you want to ask for help. But, I suppose it'd kill you to be nice and just help him out.

Just frequent your conversations more and more little by little. Eventually, you will get to see her more and more. After a few weeks of talking, ask her to see a movie or something. It will progress from there.

The reason I'm not nice about it is not because I'm an asshole by nature but because there's really no advice that I can give him that will help him. Most of the time when you ask advice for such an easy question, you already know the answer and just need to have it pounded into your brain. It's obvious that for a relationship or anything to happen, they have to continue to talk. FFR is not going to change this person's view on or understanding of relationships. You can take advice all you want, but the only thing that's really going to help you is getting some experience of your own. Sooner or later, barring horrific disfiguration or some bizarre condition, it's going to happen.

So there it is, I'm being nice:

Go for it, talk to her. Yes, it is possible for somebody to like you. Don't be overbearing; it will only be a big deal if you make it one. Just go out and have fun. With any luck you'll enjoy your first taste of love instead of freaking her out and scarring yourself. You'll have plenty of other chances regardless. Remember that you're probably not going to marry this girl, so take a chance and don't worry about the risks.

Sadly though, I can sit on a soapbox and talk about it all day, but the only way to learn for yourself is to try it. Nobody's going to live your life for you.
