Why do so many people hate miley cyrus?

I don't see why people dislike Miley so much considering she's singing for pre-school children. I mean all you have to do is stop watching the Disney channel or listening to children's radio stations and you won't have to deal with her. The fact that so many people can rise up to claim they hate her only proves they're fixated with her every movement and keep up with her show and music.

So Miley takes a few stupid pics.. not revealing at all yet people are claiming she's a slut and on the road to becoming Britney Spears. Have you noticed a lot of the fat chicks and people in siggy's holding up signs who are female right here on FFR? They're the ones who look like sluts. Some don't even wear as much clothes as Miley. Her pics were pretty PG rated. Didn't really look like anything grossly perverted compared to typical American teen behavior. The media wants to see her fall by putting so much pressure on her so she messes up and they can drag her through the mud. The people over 12 who are hating on her do it only out of jealousy.

The media has hyped people like her and Hillary Duff up so much that they're like.. forcing them into the more older crowds and stuff and it's just a big joke. They're Mickey Mouse kids being pressured all around and they do stupid things.

i dont hate her but apparently you havent seen those pictures

for someone her age she shouldnt have taken the pictures wearing what she was and in the poses she was in especially when she is looked up to by 9-13 year olds

Miley has a show for young teenagers(tweens IIRC) but she takes pic of herself in the shower and pics where you can see the outline of her nipple, and topless pics for a magazine, and according to the guy who hacked her phone or whatever, had sex with nick j.

Ehh, I hate her personally myself, but like, other girls on here show a lot more then her. And there the same age as her, and no one says anything, accept "oh pretty!" and when miley cyrus takes a picture, barely showing anything, it is like "OMFG SHE IS A SLUT1111" >.> i mean come on, give her a break.

I have several reasons why I couldn't care less about her.

She doesn't even sing, so that is a downer.
I think she's a bad influence for all the young girls that look up to her
Her music and that voice are bad, but put them together....nails on a chalkboard

I hate her personally. Something about that infernal creature skeeves me.

i was having the conversation with my mom when i found out about her shower pics with a white t shirt(the hacker man says there are more naughty ones which i would like to see but he hasnt released them so i have my doubts) and yes many girls have fun but when your in the spotlight like her, dont take a picture of yourself looking like to want sex all the time.

The fact of the matter is that she's a staple for generic teenage based music being funded by Disney. A lot of people find that rather stupid and find it remarkably easy to hate her.

I, on the other hand, pity her.

She's a musician, damnit. Think about it. She's constantly coming up with new ideas in her head, most likely writing them down. What do you think the big wigs think about those, I wonder?

"That's nice, kid, but, let's stick to the program."

She can't express her true emotions through her music. She always has to rely on certain techniques, lyrically and song wise, to make her music soar. It's sad, really.

As far as the pictures go, I simply say it's the sign of the times. You ever go back and look at some of the old female "swimware" from the 1940s?

See, that delves right into a whole 'nother arguement. Just because they have more weight then Cyrus immidiently means that they are less, "obligated," if you will, to post pictures of themselves? The only reason people are flipping out over those images is because Cyrus is in the limelight as a childrens star. Hate to say it, but, there are several pictures of barely clothed under-age girls on this fine Internet, but none has the influence upon youth culture that Cyrus has. Imagine if Cyrus started doing a little porn on the side once she turned legal.

I'm sure as long as she kept her children image, she'd be fine, right?
