    Fringe

It's that new series on Fox that's supposedly fairly decent, at least that's what the test audiences say. As of 7:52 CST, it's about halfway though, so you can still tune in if you want.

The script is pretty much ****, as in most fox thrillers, but I'm actually impressed by the makeup effects and set design. Granted, this doesn't make up for the fact that the dialogue flows worse then a Resident Evil game.

PS- When the show opened, I thought it was going to be a zombie flick. People these days, melting skin off people left and right.

    Re: Fringe

It's pretty much your standard JJ Abrahms show. He said that the show is a bit watered down since most people can't seem to follow Lost.

It seems like it will be okay, and just that, okay. The characters seem a bit forced, but then again, so did the characters in the beginning of Lost. What I don't get is how the "mad scientist" just seems like your average absent-minded and forgetful genius. Nothing mad about him besides him doing pseudoscience and some really lame background history.
put on a donk on it

        Re: Fringe

See, the fact that it's being watered down is a shame, though. Lost had that sense of "OH WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON, MAN?!" while this is more along the lines of a typical investigation drama. Everything is fairly straightforward, with not a lot of "entwined" backstories.

        PS- "I just pissed myself"
Best line in the whole pilot.

EDIT: WHAT THE ****. THEY'RE LIKE CONNECTED THROUGH THE MIND, MAN.

hmmm is this a series that is worth watching? I enjoy Lost because of that constant confusing of"wait what?" throughout the storyline.

But if this has just a straightforward plot, is it still worth watching? The previews amde it look pretty good.

The pilot wasn't too thrilling, but, like all of the fox series, I have a feeling that it will pick up as the series goes on. I'll probably end up watching it.

PS- DAYUM, that hooker can scream.

I watched about 15 minutes of it before I was bored.

It was highly, highly uneven. And while the script was weak, I found the performances to be very good, especially Joshua Jackson.

                      I'll tune in Tuesday.
