I used "us" because you are disagreeing with every one posting in this thread.

And patriotism is subjective, but whoever purchased those flags from China intended them especially to show patriotism for America. They didn't say, "well let's buy some America flags from China for no reason at all!"

And believe me I don't think that Mt. Rushmore is patriotic. If you look at the post that started this thread I said, "America is built on a pile of lies and pillaging." I am talking about taking the lands from the Native Americans.

And to you Nyokou, a reply like that really isn't necessary. Especially when you don't take the time to capitalize your sentence and also when your reply was unrelated to the subject that is being discussed.
      I didn't call you a terrorist. I called you a conspiracy theorist.

Here. I have a homework assignment for you. Can you drive? Maybe? Well, either way, go shopping. Go to a mall, a shopping center, etc. Go shopping. You might find 5/100 stores that sell these little flags. Look at every one of them and see if any of them are made in the USA.

I'm guessing no. I'm guessing if you want one, you'll need to go to a specialty store. It's going to cost more to get there, it's going to cost more to buy it, and it's going to take a hell of a lot more time out of your day. These three things go against American ideals. So we need to be un-American to be American.

If no one made topics like this, nothing would get discussed. What do you mean "who cares" I'm fairly sure many of plenty of care (showing as how many posts this thread has). I honestly could care less whether or not I "win." That isn't the point. The point is to discuss things. But people like Nyokou are not capable of discussing, they are just capable of insults.

Maybe you didn't directly call me a terrorist, but please explain to me what "you are in their boat" means.

And about seeing what is and isn't made in America: you are talking about about costs and how much everything costs. That's not what I am talking about. Put the factor of how much it would cost aside.

Uh no. Nyokou was trying to end a bad thread.

Also, you are taking everything way out of proportion. You're attacking ad hominem (look it up), which equals bad arguments. For example, you think that because Psychotik doesn't agree with one of your beliefs, he therefore hates you, and you hate him back. But that's not even remotely the case. Just lay down a bit on what you're argueing about. You're not always right.

At what you orginaly posted about. Who gives a damn? I doubt the Chinese are like "OMFG MADE IN USA KILLKILLKILLKILL NAO!!"

              1) The situation was blown out of proportion. But how can you say it is only my fault.
              2) Don't assume people don't know the definition of words, and if they don't they don't need you to tell them to look it up.
              3) I don't care/think that Psychotik hates me and I don't hate him.
              4) Everyone here is getting upset when you don't agree with their beliefs (that's what arguing is).

You're in the conspiracy theorist's boat. If you believe conspiracy theorists, you side with them. That makes you a conspiracy theorist. You have a theory that there's something outside of the generally accepted story of what happened. You think it's some kind of conspiracy. That makes you a conspiracy theorist.

It is all-or-nothing with conspiracy theories. Either you believe them a little, sometimes, a lot, or all the time (siding with them), or you don't believe them at all (not siding with them). Personally, I have seen just how retarded some of their 'theories' are and have distanced myself from them. I have plenty of reasons not to trust the Government, but to believe we faked the moon landing? To believe we killed thousands of innocent people? To believe the implausibility of a second gunman? It's far-fetched, and the evidence simply isn't there to back it up.

And about seeing what is and isn't made in America: you are talking about about costs and how much everything costs. That's not what I am talking about. Put the factor of how much it would cost aside.
                          You didn't read my post.

America is the land of instant gratification. If you want one of those little stupid flags, you're going to buy the first one you see regardless of whether it was made in America or China or Taiwan or Indonesia. The reason you're going to do this is because you're not going to shop around for something that meaningless. It's a waste of time, and that goes against our concept of instant gratification.

Let me make an example of this. You've just been rescued from a desert island. You were shipwrecked alone without food for a week. You've very nearly starved to death. However, the boat that rescued you only has Chinese food. Are you going to refuse the Chinese food just because you don't like things made in China? Are you going to refuse their services because they're Chinese people rescuing you?

What does this have to do with Patriotism? Well, a true patriot would force the Chinese people to cook American food, or make them send for an American vessel. After all, what's the point if another country gets credit for saving you?

Ironic is Afghanistan using weapons that we gave them when they were fighting the USSR against us now. The flag thing you brought up isn't. China makes a lot of products, big deal.
