That Nathan fellow was apparently an "unemployed truck driver", so I agree that he's the typical white, red-side, redneck who would make empty threats.
However, his friend was a wanted fugitive with a swastika ring who jumped from the 6th floor of a hotel to evade? Sounds like he's a bit wacko and would try something like killing Obama.
