    Cure for AIDS

    Yeah... to be honest, I didn't read everything/watch everything, but I watched a good chunk of it. Copy pastin':

                  Some guy made a thing that could make a tumor disappear within minutes with some fruit juice or some concoction. He published a book in the US about it but he was banned from the country and his book was too.

                  I heard this somewhere, at least.

                              I heard it from my teacher in either Junior High or Elementary school.

                              That's why I said that's just what I heard because I'm not sure if this is true.

                                      This is hardly something new. People all the time believe that "big pharma" is suppressing huge important cures for things like AIDS or cancer. It's all bunk.

                                      If you want to worry about who makes money, look at millionaires like Kevin Trudeau who make their money from these outrageous claims and conspiracy theories.

                                      For the rest of us, let's keep understanding real medical science and all the wonders it has brought us, despite the fact that not every disease has a quick and easy fix.

                                              There are more cures to various diseases aside from AIDS and cancer. I don't think you understand that if pharmacists and medicine practices are ruined, the effect is all round. High class, middle class, urban poor -- every one will get a bite in the ass from the economy.

                                                  The instant a cure for a worldwide epidemic such as AIDS is found, the world will know, and companies will be salivating at the prospect of making billions upon billions of dollars in profit from making it.

                                                  There is absolutely no way a discovery like that could be suppressed.

                                                      Didn't watch the movies, but I would think drug companies are making much more money handing out drugs to treat AIDS over decades and decades rather than just handing someone a cure and not selling them anything ever again.

                                                          Do you honestly think that there would be a single company who wouldn't want to make untold amounts of money on producing a cure for AIDS? I would happily wager that they would make far more money on a cure than they would on any treatment that they would have on hand.

                                                          No way would anyone turn down the chance to develop a cure.
