ok i got frontcam down to making SM jump very little...
15fps capture
15fps playback

open SM and set its priority to realtime
put front cam priority on below normal

it will run pretty good will little lag spikes..
i have:
1.6 ghz
512 mb ram
shit video card...

if your system is like this, then i suggest you try recording with the settings i just gave..

yea.. back when they first came out with p4's... and 1.6 ghz was top of the commercial line.. now haveing a 1.6 is like having a 288mhz... but yea.. overclocking isn't an option because i dont want my hard drive to melt..

Your hard drive wont melt XD. Unless your processor is uber-close to it, which it isn't, it wont do anything. Did you build your comp or buy it?
