    Last night

At around almost 4 in the morning my stepdad's truck got broken into =<(
they stole like 2000 dollars worth of badass speakers 2 tens 2 tweaters and his 1000 wat amp. also took 1300 dollars worth of cds and some money that was in there. they pretty much stripped it D:.
he went outside to get his coffee cup and the security light or whatever was on. and he seen his 2 doors open and the wires hanging out.
he knew. but yeah we called the cops and they showed up like 30 mins later (figures) and the guy was pretty cool. he wrote down what was stolen did some finger prints. blah blah blah. the bad thing is that i know people or old friends that did this kind of ****. they would brake into our (long time ago last year) best friends house threw a window and take stuff.
so yeah im hitting all them up and tellin them if they know who did it they better spill the beans because most of them are on probation and violating alot of rules and whatnot.
so yeah, if anyone has any advice on what to do and how to approach this please feel free to post and share your ideas.

also the part i didint say
that night at around ten'ish when my parents were asleep i went into ricky truck looking for something (the door was unlocked already) and then didint find it so left it unlocked not knowing what would happen. since it was already unlocked.
so yeah is it my fault for this happening?
i feel pretty damn guilty right now.

    Re: Last night

    That was difficult to read.
They stole your stuff, you called the cops, they're gonna get their asses busted.

You say it was your fault because you left the truck unlocked. Well, nobody has to know that, now do they? Secrecy is a virtue in my book.

Yeah i Know but still mean my stepdad or my family certainly isint rich.. he spent atleast 3-4 years getting all of the stuff because he cant magically spend 2 grand on cds or speakers.
and his system was knockin, it would rattle your windows like 10 houses down lmfao.

its not really something to joke around about...mystepdad is having a midlife crisis because of this. because its not the first time it's happened to him.

Being robbed sucks. But then you get to find the guy who did it and smack him with a bat. Well, that's what they do in Texas, I think.

QFE. I don't see any point in making this thread. So what do you want from us? 3 milligrams of sympathy? Sorry, I'm all out.

Leave this in your random thoughts.

Well it's kinda hard to be sympathetic when you're being such a douche-bag. Case point R-Sisco. These things happen. A few years ago, my dad's car was broken into on a military base, and they took his DVD case that had about $5,000 worth of DVD's in it, and this thing was huge. My dad didn't get mad, because he knew that he had left it unlocked, so that it was his fault. You should really tell your step-dad that you left it unlocked, and that this is possibly ALL your fault.

You should have locked it before you left. Why would you leave a car/truck unlocked? Even if you did not think any thing would happen, always be safe and lock it. They would have probably had to break in otherwise which might turn on an alarm, or something. You should really tell your dad that you went into the truck and left it unlocked.
