How can it not be a good idea? I went down to 2 credits.. Played for 100 and now i'm here at 44k.

How could it possibly be a good idea? Statistically, you're going to gain an average of zero. The average person gains nothing and loses nothing. The fact that you've come out on the good side so far doesn't mean you'll continue getting lucky, just as getting heads 100 times in a row doesn't increase the chances of getting heads again. If no-skill gambling was a good idea, casinos would be losing money XDDD.

True.. But statistically when you change the bet size, it changes the the average of zero. You can then go negative or positive. You just have to get lucky and win big bets and lose small ones. You're only going to gain an average of zero if you only bet the same amount every time.

And besides. I said I went down to 2 credits, and I started betting a little more "wisely" using the law of averages. I rebuilt using 100 credits.

Without a clairvoyance of some sort, it is impossible to say that gambling is "wise". There is no "law" in probability. Some people can potentially lose forever. A "law" is something absolute. There is no absolute result in gambling.

And this is drifting somewhat off topic. Not that the initial topic was strong in the first place <_<;

Only somewhat off topic though. The main idea just isn't being enforced very strongly in the latter posts. We're all just giving advice on the best course of action to obtain what she wants in a timely manner though .

Good point. I know i'm not a good example, but I was thinking about it. If somebody feels like debating over gambling, I'll gladly do it over the gambling thread.
