    OpenOffice.org Calc(Excel) Formatting Help!

This is based in Calc, the same thing as Excel.

In ten rows of a single column say you have the same thing in each of the row cells, something like "lol_lol.1.happy_hardcore" well, how do you make it so that in each of the rows, the number 1 changes to 2 for the second row, 3 in the third row, etc. without doing it by hand? Pic for an example.

I will still think of a faster/less work way to do this, but for now here you go.

You put any words in quotation marks to prevent excel from reading it as a command. I put a 1 in B1 which is called in the formula: ="lol"&"_"&"lol"&"_"&B1&"_"&"happy" ...

You then will have to put a 2 in the B2. Then select B1 and B2, grab the bottom right corner, and drag down to whatever number you feel like stopping at. Then just do the same to A1. That is a fast way to do it. :P Also, if you are using the spreadsheet in some sort of presentation or something. I would advise you to hide column B.

Edit: MrRubix knows a lot about Excel. He could probably help you out.
