I recently obtained a 23 inch wide-screen monitor (1920x1200), although the only resolutions I am able to choose from have a ratio of 4 to 3 (1600x1200, 1280x960, etc.). This obviously results in the screen being stretched and not as sharp as it should be. Does anybody have a solution?

I don't really know much about this but it might have to do with the drivers for your graphics card.
I'd say try the manufacturer's website for help with this problem.
