    What's...

What is the max times you've listened to the same time in a row without interuptions in one day? I just set a personal record: My Chemical Romance's Blood 102 times at 1:24 per listen.

    I have no life.

    Re: What's...

I have too many songs to listen to so I can never really give one song multiple listens in a row.

I can't even think of albums that I've had on repeat because after I listen to one I want to go listen to another.

Why would you listen to a song 102 times in a row?

      That's what I wanna know.

I listened to four Venetian Snares songs a total of about 44 times one day while grinding one of my characters in WoW. I can't stay focused any other way. : /

Listened to KgZ's Mute City Remix 200 times in one day. OMG that song is so addicting.

Yes, but listening to a single song 102 times is a bit excessive, enjoyment or not. I cannot see how you could get something new out of a song 102 times in a row without it just becoming background noise that you get used to and leave on.

I have not listened to a song that much, but I've listened to "All the Worlds a Stage" and Mark Antony's funeral speech from Julius Caesar probably 120+times in two weeks.

                      Re: What's...

Uh... back in HS I would listen to specific songs over and over again. They usually weren't quite as short as yours... Like New Order's Confusion Remix, which is a hair over 10 minutes long. I probably listened to it for 6 hours straight once.

In my car, I used to listen to Rammstein's Sehnsucht over and over again. Probably had it in my car's CD player for 6 months straight.

Guns N Roses' Paradise City is another song I used to listen to over and over and over again, if I was upset. Probably 2-3 hours straight is a max though.
                      RIP

                        Re: What's...

I usually keep my player on shuffle unless I really feel like listening to a particular album or track. If that's the case I can stick to a single song for a couple of hours. I've been looping Winter Wonderland - Animal Collective for an hour now. These urges to listen to a single track or album are quite spontaneous.

Not one song, but for the second year that I had my car I listened to nothing but MacUmba's Don't Hold Your Breath. So, it wasn't one song in one sitting, but rather an entire album whenever I was in the car at least several hundred times through.
