During the Downtime

As FFR was down for most of the morning (for us non-Americans anyway) I was looking around to see if there was a place that could say if FFR was down for a specific reason and lo and behold what I found:

Hello, and welcome to the FFR Status Blog. I decided to set this up as a way to let the core community of FFR know about certain things we are working on, and as a way to communicate site downtime, as this site is hosted offsite of FFR.

Feel free to share this URL with others, and I will be sure to update you all when I do have updates to make. You’ll find more frequent updates here than on the FFR Main Page, because sometimes some things are just not up to snuff for front page glory.

Ya. So what happened LD, you just forget about this or did it stop being useful or what? I just thought it was a pretty decent idea to have a site like that if FFR should be down for a period of time.

If anything FFR should link to that if the site is down.

How come we were never told about this site before?

thats a good idea. If the site is down or there is a message from Synth saying "upgrades, site will be back in a few minutes", that site should be posted so we can go there instead

Hehe, I learned about this place a while back. FFR was down and I was talking to friend about it and he showed me that.
