I'm pissed off because Comcast doesn't offer ESPN 360. I'm a Fulham fan, but I wanted Chelsea to win.Comment

Re: Soccer
pure: i said it's unwatchable... as in, i can't stand to watch it because it makes my blood curdle. not that you can't FIND it to watch. especially during the playoffs... it's on ESPN, TNT, and ABC... depending on the day and time. Although now with the Conference Finals on, it'll just be ABC or ESPN.RIPComment

Re: Soccer
There is a foul for it. It is an automatic yellow card if my years as a referee serve me correctly. I forget the exact reasoning or wording or whatever its called, but yeah, the players get a caution (yellow card for you non-soccer speaking folk) for falling in attempts to draw a foul on another player.
Also, even though I've done my fair share of falling, I really don't like it. I've gotten out of this habit and I really like that I have. Unfortunately, because of this, I'm now more prone to getting calls against me for whenever someone bumps into me and falls down, or just falls near me, I usually get something called against me. I guess you can't win 'em all. At least I do get to hit the guys sometimes and get away with it
.
edit to point out that I haven't read all of this thread yet due to sucky internet in chicago at the moment. Maybe its just my place, I don't know, but I have more important things to be doing. But, with Tass' comment, I had to put in my 2 cents.Last edited by PsYcHoZeRoSk8eR; 05-21-2008, 07:37 PM.Comment

Re: Soccer
Having someone dive when you challenge them is kind of akward. I mean, I essentially gave this midfielder a lovetap when I challenged for a throw-in, and he sort of crumpled beneath me, ensuing a "WTF!?" moment. I didn't really know how to respond. There is a foul for it. It is an automatic yellow card if my years as a referee serve me correctly. Re: Soccer
I hate how I missed the game for MY soccer practice. But I stopped caring after Man U eliminated Barcelona (they should've beaten Man U that game Ronaldo missed the penalty! They had the game in their hands!).
Yes, I'm a Barcelona/Real Madrid fan. But if I had to choose one, I'd go for Barcelona, since these two teams are big rivals.Comment
