This is actually a very easy problem to fix:

You can tie your bank account into your paypal account in the same way that you tie a credit card to your paypal account.

What you do is you transfer money from your bank account into your paypal account (This can take a while, 6-8 business days) then voila, you have money directly on your paypal balance, and when you go to pay to subscribe, you simply pay out of your paypal balance.
