I assume that all the music you've made available for download is also freely available at no cost from the OSTER project website, and you're just compiling it because people who don't read the language would have trouble finding the songs they want on the website?

Correct. There are no songs from OSTER Project's cd, Cats in a Can (the only songs he sold). All these songs are available for free download.

However these songs include some songs not from his own site, but from nicovideo. Still free.

While I'm at it, I'd suggest that the site link from OSTER's widget be changed from muzie to http://www.fuwafuwacinnamon.sakura.ne.jp/

Mini Nova is the best possible site for uploading apart from The Pirate Bay.

You need to get a client, such as BitTorrent, uTorrent or BitComet. You need to use the "create torrent" option. The torrent will be around 16kb in size. THAT is the file you upload to MiniNova.

Be aware that there are issues in BitComet in regaurds to creating Torrents, but uTorrent is fine.

I've been downloading some of OSTER's songs but its hard because I don't read Japanese, this helps alot.

Torrents are illegal by the way. Like big time illegal. So is Limewire.

I successfully made a torrent file. I successfully uploaded it onto Mininova. I can't connect to any peers with the given trackers. :/ Maybe you can make a torrent and I'll download, and become a seeder.

That's less than one .mkv anime episode. :/ A good 30 minutes should be fine.

I agree, seeing as though OSTER has his music up for download for free. But just warning you, because Torrents can get you into so much trouble.

I'm well aware. 5TBs a month from torrents is very conspicuous to anime providers. That is illegal.

Question to you all: how often should I update? How should I update? OSTER makes songs at a relatively rapid pace compared to other artists I see, but I doubt I should update after every single new song. Ideas?

i don't have an issue with this.... if everything is already available for free, this is an ease of use thing.

now, if the site was readable to 99% of the FFR userbase, then I would have an issue with this. I understand how much of an issue it is to navigate the muzie pages without reading japanese. but, in general, we do want people to get their music from the artist's sites... not from 3rd parties.

i'll allow it because of how bad muzie is for non-japanese readers.

Most of the music is not from muzie. OSTER's homepage is not muzie, and hasn't been for a while. Half of his music can only be found on his own homepage http://www.fuwafuwacinnamon.sakura.ne.jp/ Some of the music can only be found on mixi and nicovideo as well. I wouldn't have made this rar if everything could be gotten from muzie. What's so hard about right clicking the bright red mp3 box and saving target as?

Also, OSTER currently has two muzie pages, one mixi page, and one piapro page in addition to his homepage.
