Mac vs. SMO - Help Wanted

So I decided to download SMO (4.0) for my mac today, and I did. To my surprise all it contained was the actual game itself and a folder named "docs" which only contained licenses.txt. Looking at the getting started page of smo.com, it says something about "or you can change this in your .ini" So that leaves me to question, why the hell do I not have one and what can I do to change that?

EDIT: shift/caplocks doesn't work either in SMO, yet when I click on iChat, it lets me.

Get SMO 3.9, SMO 4.0 is a piece of crap.
On www.stepmaniaonline.com, I believe it is the 3rd post down, there is an announcment about better files or whatever, click the dwnload link in the pot for 3.9.

This is a thread that would be better posted on stepmaniaonline.com. Maybe even a more appropriate section on this forum would be better. Also ya. 3.95 is the best.

That links to a .exe which is for windows. For this mac, I need a .dmg

Alright I just got 3.95 because you said it rocks.
I already disabled the BGs but how do you center the arrows in 3.95
I mean :
|___<V^>___| rather than |<V^>______|
