      Starcraft was already the most perfectly balanced RTS in existance. Everything I've seen of SC2 has been "Hey look, bigger explosions, and shiny graphics!" neither of which I care about at all.

          Anyway, Blizzard seems to be adopting it's usual policy of refinement over novelty, so you can look forward to what could almost be referred to as Starcraft Mk2 instead of Starcraft 2. Basically there's gonna be a larger unit cap, better graphics, (hopeful) closure to the story and probably tweaked game balance and UI.

          In a nutshell, if you like Starcraft, you'll probably like Starcraft 2 just as much :P

              What is the "release date" now? I use quotes because any one who is a fan of Blizzard's games knows damn well the first 5 or so release dates are total bull. But hey, I'm all for having a delayed, moderately bug free game than having a rushed, totally buggy game that is no fun playing...

              Last I heard it was Oct. 2008. This still hold true?
