    Just ordered my new laptop.

    It's a Dell Inspiron 1720
    - Intel Core 2 Duo t9300 (2.5 GHz/800Mhz FSB/6MB cache)
    - 4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz
    - 17" widescreen display (1440 x 900)
    - 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
    - 250GB Hard Drive (5400 RPM)

    It's going to be lots of fun. Also has a camera built into it, but I doubt I'll use it. Only downside is that my mom wants my desktop when I get it. Oh well.

              lol! If you want you could get an old one and give it to her. If you have something on their you want to keep you could gut it and switch it with another old one. that wouldn't be too hard. also, she would never be able to tell.

                      Nice, I have 2 dell laptops, a inspiron and a XPS.

                      Just make sure you get the Warranty, they have replaced the mother board in my inspiron about 5times now, as well as a few other idems, all for free.

                      Definitely worth it, just don't crack the screen it cost's up the ass to replace it...

                              Not bad. I'm fixing to order my new laptop soon as well. Its all paid for, there are just some loose ends with the bearer of the credit card (mother =\) that I have to take care of.
