Re: Underage Lovers on the Run?!

Michigan seems to have a history of teenage girls fleeing the state in odd and strange ways:

Whats up with you guys in MI?

Re: Underage Lovers on the Run?!

I'm under the suspician that Ricky is finding these kids and convincing them that fleeing home is the best course of action.

      Nice choice for mod-dom, Jason.

I realize they were still at that age where they should still be experimenting with dating, but if they found love in each other amidst the confusion in life, then I think they have the right to be together.
I really hope the parents don't try to lock him away from her or something...
I agree. Kids have the right to be stupid.

Making mistakes is fine, but 1) they have to be punished for running away from home, 2) they could have been killed, it's the parents' responsibility to keep their children safe in whatever (legal) way they see fit. If I were in their shoes, I'd probably never let them see each other without parental supervision, but that's just me.

            1) Take away xbox
            2) Time for him to get a job .. period. Be it yard work, shoveling snow, dishwashing.
            3) Say goodbye to license until 18

Want to run? Go for it .. but with HIS car, HIS money and things HE has purchased. Somehow I doubt anything he took with him was on HIS dime.

Though I do wonder if the girl is the only bipolar one in the bunch

              Not to mention his dog.

92% of the teenage population has switched to rap.

Their reason was that the girl looked like a ****ing hambeast and they were only looking out for his best interests. If I saw that my son was going out with that monster I would have had them separated too.

There is no good reason for what they did. Being a ****ing idiot in "love" is not a good reason to do anything.

I think it's romantic. Stupid, but romantic none the less.

                        15 + 13 =/= romantic.

Romeo and Juliet? They were about that age, and that is considered one of the most romantic stories ever told.

It's actually about the tragedy of young puppy love and warring households, which I don't find romantic at all, but whatever.

I bet his dad was like son, you could do MUCH better than that ugly emo bitch. Go find yourself a real girl. And he was like but no dad she puts out 10 times more then the hot ones I want me some ass. So let's run away on a cross country fucking spree. Take stuff we'll never need, not take stuff we do need. And then run out of money and not sell the extra stuff for cash. Moral of the story stick to cheap relationships that don't break laws. They work better.

I am sure they understand why they did it and I think that teenagers (sorry to those who are right now) these days are taking things too seriously and over-reacting to a lot of things. I'm not trying to say that i'm so much better or anything, (I am mid twenties) but has anyone else noticed that kids are growing up a lot faster these days??

I don't even think they know what love feels like... I thought I was in love in high school, but I realized that it isn't so and I am pretty sure that is what they are going through right now too.
