    Avatar size

Last night my avatar was removed. It doesn't really matter to me, but it did make me curious. If your avatar is big enough to stretch the page, yet scaled down to fit the pixel requirement is it worthy of deletion? I'm not positive exactly the extent of anything my avatar was doing because my laptop has such a huge resolution nothing is page stretching. I was just curious about the whole size thing and who deleted it and attached a note in my sig. Because whoever did deleted the pictures that I had in it >.>

edit: Just checked the file it was 180x270 pixels

    Re: Avatar size

Maximum dimensions allowed for avatars, as stated in the rules, are 175px by 200px. Why they don't make those the maximum dimensions allowed when you upload an avatar is beyond me. It would really save them the work of taking down people's avatars when they go above that size. Ya know...since people couldn't even go above it in the first place.

All I know, my page doesn't get stretched either, and I think there should be bigger dimensions aloud

The same thing happened to me. They aren't very clear about it.

Big avatars don't stretch the page, they stretch the individual side-bar thing everyone has in the blue. It's fairly easy to spot someone with an avatar that's too wide if you go along the blue line, and see when it isn't even. Unless they have a massive name like Hammy.
