Since for the life of me, I can't sleep, I decided to take on the fact that for some reason all of all the private messages in my inbox were flagged as new, even the ones as far back as 2002. So now, instead of repeatedly seeing an altert notifying me of around 200 new private messages, I finally knocked it down to the double goose egg.
To get to my point - going through those made me want to apologize to anyone who had ever sent me a private message while I was away from the Internet (2005-2006-ish), even though 95% of those members are probably long since gone.
It was pretty funny seeing members scoffing at me for banning them when I wasn't even around, though. Apparently, I'm an idiot because I didn't use my Internet telekinesis to IP ban a hacker and instead issued a normal ban during a time where I didn't have any access whatsoever to the Internet. Is this true? Do I fail?
