    input on future purchase?

I've recently been looking at digital camcorders and i came across this one from Sony.
    Sony Handycam DCR SR42 - camcorder - hard disk drive-built-in - 30 GB

heres a link for more info:

it will be used for making videos, shorts, filming random things, ect.
the program i use to edit videos is Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus.

i was wondering what anyone you think of the camcorder. any input is helpful

Do research on and compare other camcorders. You find a better one waiting for you.

It might help if you decide what your price range is and exactly what quality you want out of it.
